Get It Done is a Zoom productivity and accountability group that meets Monday through Thursday for a 2-hour session to work on being more productive in any area of your life.​​

 

You can work, exercise, clean your house, meal prep, cook, work on your music, art, or just read during this time. Don't miss an opportunity to get stuff done!

HOW IT WORKS.

 

The Get It Done productivity groups meet Monday through Thursday for a 2-hour session comprised of  four 30-minute blocks of productivity.  We use the Pomodoro Technique (25 minutes of work; 5 minutes of rest) to keep us on task. We meet for the first five minutes to share what we are working on and then mute and shut off Zoom camera and work for 25 minutes. Then the process repeats three more times. It's an incredible time-management and accountability tool!

Each group is a 2-hour session comprised of:

 

Block One. 5-min Share Time and 25-min Get It Done Time.

Block Two. 5-min Share Time and 25-min Get It Done Time.

Block Three. 5-min Share Time and 25-min Get It Done Time.

Block Four. 5-min Share Time and 25-min Get It Done Time & 5-min closing.

Share Time. Each person will spend about 30 seconds to:

  • describe concrete goal/task for the next 25 minutes

  • celebrate productivity and/or share setbacks

 

Get It Done Time. Each person will work quietly on goal or task for 25 minutes:

  • turn off your camera

  • mute yourself and start working

WHAT YOU COMMIT TO

Be On Time.

  • Open Zoom 2-3 minutes before session starts.

Be Visible.

  • Must turn video and sound on.

Be Present.

  • Stay on for the entire 2-hour session.

Be Focused.

  • Remove distractions (phone & email notifications, close your door)

Be Prepared.

  • Get water/coffee or use the restroom. Prepare your work space.

Be Professional.

  • Be appropriately covered for video. Absolutely no inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
